GERAKAN JARINGAN ISLAM LIBERAL DALAM PEMBAHARUAN HUKUM ISLAM DI INDONESIA

Abstrak

There are two community organizations groups Islam based after reform in Indoensia. First, the group that want formalization of Islamic law in the legal system in Indonesia. Second, the group that reject to formalization of Islamic law and want to reform of Islamic law. Liberal Islamic Network was born in response to emergence of the first group, that want Islamic law applied as state law formally. Liberal Islamic Network prefer the second group trying to reform to Islamic law and reject to formalization of Islamic law in Indonesia. this paper will explain how the response and efforts of Liberal Islamic Network in welcoming the issue Islamic law in Indonesia. One response of JIL to this phenomena, reject to formalization of Islamic law and whant to reform of Islamic law so that Islamic law can adjust agains of change.
